•  Which scale has the game?

In designer's opinion is really difficult to create a naval tactics game with more than one ship per unit. Although in these battles the number of ships is really big (in some scenarios will be more than 500 ships in the map), the interface will let to manage this number of units, so the scale in units/ship is 1:1.

Related to space and time, the turns will be equal to 5 minutes of real time, and each hex is 50 meters long (sufficient for all the ships of the era).

  • When the game will be finished?

By now there is no release date. This game is being developed by one person by now, and he can't dedicate full time to this game. More information will be communicated in the forums and News section.

  • In which computers and operating systems will work?

The game is being developed using full multiplatform utilities, so hopefully it will have versions for both Windows, Linux, *BSD and Mac OS X. Related to requirements, an average cpu and graphic card will be needed. As an informative note, the computer where it is being developed has a 1.6 GHz Pentium IV cpu and a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro card.

  • Which battles and fleets will be present?

At this moment the game is planned to be oriented to the classic era of galleys: from the rise of athenian triremes in Salamis to the last clashes of roman era, passing through peloponnesian and punic wars. Medieval and renaissance scenarios won't be created by now, but a second title or an scenario pack related to them are a real possibility.

  • Will be possible to develop new scenarios?

Yes, the thought is to publish the scenario/map editor with the game, in order to let the players to create its own scenarios (or modify the existing ones).
