This web is the home of Galley Battles, a wargame that tries to recreate
the most famous naval battles of ancient history, from greek and persian
wars to the roman empire.
Virtually there are no games (specially computer wargames) dedicated to
this topic, so this project will try to close this gap in wargamers choice.
The aim is to give an intuitive interface to the player, in order to manage
easily the huge number of ships engaged in these battles. The command
system will let to give common orders to any given number of ships, from
one concrete to the entire fleet.
In this site you can get information about the system and the game in
the 'Overview' and 'Questions and answers' sections. In the 'Developer's
journal' you will be able to follow the development of the game (actually
at a very alpha stage). Between the other sections, you can ask about
all kind of subjects and know other information in the Forums.
Please note that both the game and the site are not finished now, so any
comments will be wellcomed.
